THE LI CLAN ESTATE,
Fuutie Li, eldest of Yelan Li’s five children, stared out the living room window. Her younger sisters, Fanren, Feimei and Sheifa were busy talking and drinking tea as had become their tradition when Syaoran was not around to torture.
“What’s up, Fuutie?” Sheifa asked, looking up from her tea. “You worrying about Syaoran again?
Fuutie turned back towards them. “Well, why shouldn’t I be? Our baby brother is at the mercy of a deranged madman!”
Fanren raised an eyebrow. “Oh, Eriol’s not *that* bad.”
“Besides,” Feimei added. “He has Sakura-chan to keep him company. If you know what I mean.” Her smirk faded slightly as the others glared at her. “What?” she asked.
“Meiling would smack you for that if she were here,” said Sheifa.
“But she’s not,” Feimei smirked. “I wonder if she’s keeping Syaoran *company* too.”
Fanren shook her head. “You’ve got a very strange mind, sis.”
“Look,” Feimei continued. “Mother is working on it. And you know how she s when someone gets in her way, right?” The girls all nodded in agreement. “So what are we worrying about?”
Just then an ominous voice echoed through the room. “Oh, *I’ll* give you something to worry about.” There was a series of clicks as the living room doors all locked. The television suddenly turned on revealing the image of Eriol Hiiragizawa.
“Eriol?!” said Sheifa. “What in the--?!”
Eriol smirked. “I thought that maybe if I gave you a small sample of what your brother is enduring you might decide not to mess with me,” he said. “So I’ve prepared a small bit of reading for you lot. Enjoy!”
The image faded to static before a series on text appeared on the screen. The four Li girls gathered around the television:
>Author's Notes: Hi!! I'm

Fuutie: And this time it’s
personal!
>I know I haven't finished Kiss
and Flee but I couldn't let this idea pass me by....
Shiefa: Well, we kinda wish you
had.
Fanren: But then she’d be working
on “Kiss And Flee”. This is a no win situation!

with Sakura...
Feimei: Between cherry blossoms
and villains lies obsession…
Sheifa: What’s next? Kare Kano rewritten with Sakura and Syaoran?
Fanren: Nah. This author doesn’t
seem that clever.

Feimei: “Caught
In The Act” flashbacks… Ick…
Sheifa: How would you know about
that?
Feimei: Syaoran e-mailed it to me.
Sheifa: What did you do to him to
deserve that?
Feimei: I think it has something
to do with the time I tied him up and dressed him in Fanren’s old clothes.
>"I don't know Sakura...why don't you go to a movie with Li?" she
said mockingly. Sakura cringed.
Fuutie:<Sakura> That Valley Girl accent gives me the creeps…
>"I'm not going anywhere with that baka!!! He makes me so
angry!!!"
Sheifa:<
Fanren:<Sakura> Uhhh…
>Secretly, Sakura was head over
heels for Li, but she never let it show. Nor did she tell anyone, not even

Feimei: Whoa! Back-up a sec! What
is this? Role reversal day? Sakura’s acting like
Syaoran here.
Sheifa: I’m more amazed that
Fuutie: That was cruel, Sheifa.
Sheifa: Thank you.

>"Really Sakura...who do
you think you are trying to fool? You get the same look on your face when you
look at Li, like you did when

were 10.
Fuutie: And the way Li looked at
Julian when he was 10.
Fanren: Please don’t go there.

I, your over 6 year best friend wouldn't notice?"
Sheifa: I think they’ve known each
other longer than that.
>Sakura didn't say a word.
Feimei:<Britanny Murphy, singsong> I’ll never tell…
>She just turned her head and
blushed a deep red, all while mumbling things like, 'keep your big nose out of
my business....'
Fuutie: Okay, that *definitely*
sounds like Syaoran.

>Little did Sakura and Madison know that someone was watching their every move.
Feimei: It was the Nelvana execs
making sure they didn’t somehow lapse into character.
Sheifa: Now who’s the cruel one?
Feimei: I have my moments.
>A dark man, in another realm,
was watching a cloud like figure, which showed him Sakura day and night.
>"Oh...my beautiful maiden.... One day, you will belong to me and only
me..."
Fuutie:<Kuno> Come, fair cherry blossom! I would date with
thee!
>He was interrupted by a voice
calling him.
Fanren:<voice> Watch out for snakes!
>"Master Kain?" the man asked.

>"Yes? What is it Zeus?"
Sheifa: The hell…?!
Fuutie:<Kain> Stupid thunder God… Interrupting my peeping…
>"I'm sorry to interrupt you, but you are needed in the court..."
Kain sighed.
Feimei: Is Kain some sort of
Supreme Court Justice here or something?
Fanren: That would explain his
interest in sixteen year old girls.
Sheifa: Ouch!
>”Can't a man get a little time to relax?" he said, irritated to no
limit.

>"Or to daydream about the maiden. I presume you were studying
her battle skills again?"
Fuutie: Yeeeeeaaaahhh… Her *battle skills*.
Sheifa: Ick…
>"No....I was just watching her.... She is so beautiful..." Kain
whispered. Zeus 'tutted', signaling that he disagreed about
the beauty of this 'maiden'.
Feimei:<Zeus> I’m more of a Hikaru Shidou kind of guy.
>He took a step toward Kain.
Fanren:<booming voice> Step forward, cowardly lion!
>"Kain.... as your most trusted advisor, and brother...I suggest that
you concentrate more on how to steal the cards. Rather
than.... her." Kain just scowled.
Fuutie: Of course, if he steals
her he gets the cards too.
Sheifa:<John Lithgow> Brilliant!
>"I hope that wasn't an order Zeus, for I outrank you, and I will NOT
tolerate and insubordination from my under linings!!" He bellowed.
<All snigger>
Feimei: His “under linings”?! Oh,
yikes…
>"Forgive me master, it will not happen again..."
Fanren:<Zeus> Please don’t put me back in the box!
>"Good...now get out..."
Fuutie:<Kain> You sicken me! Go away!
>"Yes master..." Zeus left, closing the door behind him.
Sheifa:<Zeus a la Torgo> Do tHiS, Do ThaT. WhaT aBoUt mY
nEedS?
>Kain returned his attention to
Sakura talking with
Fuutie:<Kain, whispering> Can’t touch this!
>"Oh lovely maiden, we will be together soon...." He unconsciously
traced her face with his fingertips once more. "So exquisite...very soon
my love.... very soon..."
Fanren:<Kain> Very soon I shall get a life.
Feimei: Is this the Legacy of Kain
version of Kain? If it is, he’s become a wuss.

Fuutie: Bite me.
>"Suuuuure.... but the blush on your face isn't really helping your
case...." Sakura's hand immediately flew to cover her heated cheeks.
Sheifa: The new 2004 model Sakura
with A/C and heated cheeks.
>Sakura glared at her through
her fingers.

Fanren:<Sakura> ACK!
Feimei:<
>"Why, because I'm ALWAYS right?" Sakura removed her hands. And
with a still VERY flushed face she yelled,
Fuutie:<Sakura> WHICH OF US IS TALKING?! THIS NARRATION
MAKES NO SENSE!!
>"For the last time.... I DON'T LIKE LI!!!!!"
Sheifa: Well, we know
>"I'll bet my camera that you are head over heels...." Sakura got
a defeated look on her face.
Fanren:<Sakura> Oh no… She’s going to put me in a crappy
movie with Freddie Prinze Jr.
Sheifa: Why would Sakura bet her
camera? Does she even have a camera?
Fuutie: Smile and nod, Sheifa.
>Whenever
Feimei: That reasoning seems
flawed.
Fuutie:<
Fanren:<Sakura, throwing up hands> Fine! It’s flat!
Fuutie:<
Fanren:<Sakura> Sure. Whatever.
Fuutie:<
>"Fine!!! You got me...." Sakura flopped
lazily onto the bed and continued. "How long have you known?"

>"I think I've know since.... err....... the
end of fifth grade..." *giggle*
Sheifa:<
>"What?! That's exactly when I started to like
him!!!"
Feimei:
Fanren: Syntax sense not make
does.
>"I know...." * I hate her* Sakura thought.

>"I hate me too..." Sakura looked at her and they busted into a
helpless fit of giggles. After nearly collapsing in their mirth,
Sheifa:<
Feimei:<Sakura> Help! I’m collapsing!
>"Sakura? If we *giggle* don't get *laugh* go-

Fuutie:<Tom Hanks> Has anyone ever mentioned your nitrous
oxide problem?
>"Okay...let's *haha* go..." Both of the girls got off of Sakura's
bed and walked out of the room. Sakura stopped dead in the hallway when she
realized something. >
Fanren:<Sakura> DAMMIT! I FORGOT MY LINES AGAIN!
Fuutie:<Sakura> I’M HAVING TROUBLE CONTROLLING THE VOLUME OF
MY VOICE!
>"I forgot Kero!!" she said in a panic filled cry.
Sheifa:<voice> Watch out for snakes!
>"Why would a stupid stuffed animal want to go to a
movie squirt?" It was Tori.
Fuutie: What’s a movie squirt?
Feimei: Sounds like something you
see in porn.
Fanren: Feimei…
>"Ahhh...." Sakura was searching for a quick lie, which would
perhaps, at least, get him away. An idea hit her. *I'll just pull the
usual....* she thought. Sakura >whirled around to stare Tori straight in the
face.
Sheifa: Uh-oh! Staring contest!
>"It's my doll, my life, so I can do...." she leaned up for
emphasis, "whatever the HELL I WANT!!!" Tori just rolled his eyes.
Feimei:<Sakura> SO SHUT YOUR HOLE AND KNOW YOUR ROLE, ‘CAUSE
STONE COLD SAKURA SAID SO!
Fuutie: I think you’re getting
your wrestling tag lines mixed up, sis.
Feimei: You say that like I should
care. I’m not Lynxara, you know.
>"Whatever squirt...I just think that you're too OLD for a stupid
doll..." and he trotted down the stairs. Sakura let out the air she had
been holding the whole time.
Fanren: She huffed and puffed…
Feimei:<makes farting noise>
Fuutie: Feimei…
>"That was too close...."

>"An Oscar performance Sakura!!! I wish I would've had my
camera..." she started rubbing her fingers together, as if she had been
'craving' to hold her camera.
Sheifa: Either that or the world’s
smallest violin is playing just for Sakura.
>Sakura just rolled her eyes
and retreated to her room. And as sure as the sky is blue, Kero was floating in
the middle of the room.

>"About TIME!!" he bellowed. Sakura was in no mood to be yelled
at.
Feimei:<Sakura> *I’m* the one doing all the yelling around
here!
>"Do you want to go to this movie or not?"
>
>"Well yeah..."
Fuutie:<Kero> Is Halle Berry in it?
>"Then shut up and get in the bag...." she sighed, exasperated.
Kero frowned, but did as he was told. Sakura jogged back to
Fanren:<Sakura> Damn! This plaster is getting hot!
>"Okay, let's go...." Kero's head suddenly popped up out of her
bag.

>"WAIIIIIITTTT!!!!!!" he yelled, making both girls jump.
All:<Sakura and
>"What?! What?! What is it?!" Sakura asked, looking around
franticly. Kero just smiled.
Sheifa:<Kero> Gotcha!
>"Can I have some pudding first?" *anime fall*
Feimei:<muted trumpet imitation> Wah-wah-wah-waaaaaahhhh!
>the girls popped right up,
remembering that they were both wearing skirts. Needless to say, they were not
what you would consider, 'long'.
Fuutie: Whoa! Fanservice!
Feimei:<Kero> Wearing the pink panties again, Sakura?
Fanren: Feimei…
Feimei:<Kero> I didn’t know you wore black though,
Fanren: Feimei!
Sheifa:<Sakura> Damn it! I didn’t sign up to be in “Stratos 4”!
>Kero continued, "I'm kind
of hungry..." A large sweat drop appeared on both the side of the girls'
heads.
Fuutie: Cerberus needs to work on
his self-control.

Sheifa: Uhh… A line of buoys on
the ocean… Pass!
>"So Li, where....do you want to go tonight?" Li was very
irritated.
Feimei:<Li Showron> Li keeps talking to himself and it makes
him agitated. Isn’t that right, Li? SHUT UP, LI! DON’T TALK TO ME!
>Meilin was clinging to his arm
again, even though she knew that he hated that.
Fuutie: Not as much as the
Shampoo/Wakaba-esque glomping.
Sheifa:<Meilin a la Wakaba> Showron! Showron!
Showron-saaaaaaammmmmaaaaaaaaaaa!
>But that wasn't the only thing
bothering him. What bothered him the most, is that he
has to marry this girl!!!! Li scowled in his thought.
Fanren: Marrying your cousin isn’t
*that* bad. Look at the Royal Famil… Okay. I see his point.
>"I don't care where we go..... how about
something remotely interesting for a change?" Li was in no mood to be
kind.
Feimei: So, the way he usually is?
Fuutie: That wasn’t nice.
>"Oh shut up.....how about the movies?" Li just rolled his eyes.

Sheifa:<Melin a la Shampoo> Aiya! Li take Meilin on date!
Meilin so happy!

Sheifa:<Sakura a la Usagi> Waaaaaahhhhh! I don’t know what
to doooooooo!!
Fanren:<Li Showron a la Mamoru> Take heart, brave cherry
blossom! One must face their darkest fears when selecting movies!
Feimei: Yeah. Especially
when Tom Green is involved.
>"Why don't we see......"

>"Hey guys!!! Sakura!!!
Fuutie: Who is “Meiln”?
Fanren: Does Meiling have a
dyslexic twin sister?
>"Oh hi Meilin....."
Feimei: What is he? An anchor?
>"So, what are you guys planning to see?"

>"Oh....we haven't figured it out yet....have we Sakura? Um...Sakura?" Sakura looked very angry, she was glaring
daggers at Meilin, and her current resting place, >on HER Li's arm.
Sheifa:<Li Showron> Oh, so I’m just a possession now? Is
that it? You make me sick.
>"Hey Sakura, what's bothering you?" Li said. Sakura snapped out
of her angered state and looked at Li. A blush made it's
way to her cheeks, without permission.
Fanren: Unauthorized blushing!
Halt!
>"Oh nothing...." A blush made it's way
to Li's cheeks without permission too. He smiled at her.
Feimei: Damn rogue blushing…
>"Good...." Meilin and Madison were just looking back and forth
between the two, who were in their own little world. *That little cow....Li
never smiled at ME >before!!!!*
Fuutie: That isn’t true. Although
he doesn’t smile much, does he?
Fanren: I wonder why.
>"AHEM!!!" Meilin shouted. Li and Sakura were drawn away from each
other and brought back to reality. Of course, they were blushing even more
heavily.
Sheifa:<Mike Rhea> They blushed profusely.
>"Yeah what?" Li coldly said.
Fuutie: Because we all know Li
loathes and despises his loving cousin.
>"I just wanted to know what movie WE are going to see." Meilin
clung tighter to Li's arm to make Sakura jealous. It worked, tears were forming
in her eyes, and >threatening to spill over. She turned around and ran
towards the exit, tears flying as she passed.
Feimei: Geez… Talk about
oversensitive. You’d think she’d be used to this sort of thing from Meilin by
now.
Sheifa: She didn’t bawl like this
when Yukito turned her down.
>"Sakura!!!"
Fanren:<Sakura> I have no idea! Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
>"Home!!!" she yelled, before she disappeared into the night.

>"Meilin? May I have a word with you....ALONE?"
Feimei:<Meilin> For the last time, I don’t swing that way!
>"Fine...." she said in a haughty voice.
Fanren:<corner> Why did they abandon meeeeeeeeee?
>"So what do you want to talk about?" Before Meilin could register
anything, a hefty slap was planted across her face, instantly leaving a red
mark.

>"OW!!! What the heck was that for?!!"
Sheifa:<Meilin> You slapped me!
Fanren:<
>"For being such a selfish, spoiled, jealous person.
Anyone could see that those two are in love, and
you...."
Feimei:<
Sheifa: This is turning into a cat
fight.
>"I don't care if that hag loves him or not!!! He's MINE!!" she
yelled, and she walked off. *bitch*
Fuutie: Wow… That’s one *hell* of
an OOC moment there, folks.
Fanren:<

>Li had been standing in the lobby, thinking about Sakura. Deep inside, he
loved her to no extent.
Sheifa: Somehow that doesn’t
*sound* impressive.
>But he tried not to show it,
because he knew he could never have her. He couldn't have her....because of
Meilin. If he didn't marry her, he would disown his entire >family.
Fanren: Shouldn’t that be the
other way around?
Feimei:<Li Showron> Gee… Then I’d never see my sisters or my
mother… Hey! Sakura! Wait up!
Fuutie: He just doesn’t appreciate
us.
Shiefa: I wonder why.
>But, his heart was telling him
to go after Sakura.....
>
>"Li!!! I'm back!!" it was HER. She looped her arm through
his again.
Sheifa:<Li Showron> Shampoo?! What are you doing here?!
Fuutie:<Shampoo> Airen not happy to see Shampoo?
>"So, what shall we see Li?" Li recoiled.
Feimei:<Li Showron> Gah!
Fanren:<Li Showron> Of course you can see me! I’m standing
right here!
>"Whatever you want to see, go watch it, ALONE...." and Li took
off to find Sakura.
Feimei:<Meilin> Is this about my walking in on you in the
bath?
Fuutie: Feimei…
Feimei:<Meilin> I just wanted to wash your back!
Fuutie: Feimei…
Sheifa: Actually, Meiling might
have tried that at some point.
Fuutie: We never should have let
her watch “Mahoromatic”. It gave her ideas.

blinked. “Whoa…” she said. “I wonder what that was all about.”
“All
I know is that I’m going to wring that four eyed twerp’s neck if he tries to
pull that again,” Sheifa muttered. Just then several clicks signaled that the
doors had unlocked.
“Well,”
said Fanren. “I don’t see what all the fuss is about. That fanfic was easy. Is
that really the worst Eriol can dish out?”
“Hush!”
said Feimei. “Don’t say things like that!”
“Why?”
Fanren replied. “What’s the worst that could happen?” The other three girls
stared at her with blank terror knowing full well the fate that falls on those
foolish enough to say ‘What’s the worst that can happen ?’
And
they would probably be right.

I
honestly can’t understand what it is with some authors. Why do they think that
if they’re pro-S+S that they have to turn Meiling into the enemy? It’s this
whole Mike Rhea complex that afflicts authors. (Some pro-Meiling authors do the
same thing to Sakura) Hey, I love S+S but I also like Meiling. She’s one of my
favorite CCS characters just because she’s so funny to watch. If you don’t
laugh when she first shows up and freaks out to see Sakura wearing the shirt
*she* gave to Syaoran… well, I don’t know what’s wrong with you. (Plus there’s
her paranoid delusion that Sakura is going to kidnap her to force Syaoran to
hand over his cards). And, hey, she did help get Sakura and Syaoran together
in te end, right? It’s all part of what made CCS great. Does Mike Rhea *really*
think that Ranma ½ would have been more entertaining if Akane had never
existed?
Don’t
mind me. I’m just ranting a bit.
Anyway,
I got the idea for this mini-series a long time ago when a few readers suggested
I do an MSTing featuring Syaoran’s infamous elder sisters. It’s a tad hard
trying to write for them since they’re basically cameo characters. I kept this
first entry short just to test the whole thing out. I’m hoping to continue
MSTing “Obsession” later on.
